Stephanie Raglin, LMFT
Stephanie enjoys providing therapy to couples, families, and individuals; she works with clients age 4 and up.
Stephanie's goal as a therapist has always been to be reflective and validating, while emphasizing that feelings are neither right nor wrong. She resonates deeply with the Ethiopian proverb, “Many spiders working together can tame a lion,” which encapsulates her approach to counseling. Stephanie has always been driven to support individuals who feel they have nowhere else to turn when facing life's struggles, stressors, traumas, or heartaches. Having experienced the benefits of therapy in her own life, she is committed to giving back to others by providing the same support she received. Her aspiration is to work with children, teens, and families, helping to piece together the missing puzzle pieces of their lives, break down barriers, and offer hope.
Stephanie holds a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from the nationally accredited (COAMFTE) Marriage and Family Therapy graduate program at the University of Oregon. She employs Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to help individuals understand the interplay between thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, and utilizes Family Systems strategies to address interactional dynamics within families. Additionally, she has a Postgraduate Training Certificate in Therapy with Adoptive and Foster Families.
With extensive experience working with ages ranging from 4 to adults, Stephanie is trained in Play Therapy for young children. Her specialties include supporting children, adolescents, teens, and adult survivors of trauma, including racial trauma. She is also passionate about helping clients manage anxiety, depression, and supporting children or teens dealing with emotional dysregulation or anger.
In her free time, Stephanie enjoys being outdoors, spending time with close friends, and she loves to laugh.
