Bree Kobold,
Marriage and Family Therapy Associate

Bree enjoys providing therapy to couples and individuals, ages 18 and older.

Bree is a dedicated Therapist with a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of Massachusetts and a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Oregon. She is working toward full licensure and integrates evidence-based practices such as Internal Family Systems (IFS), Narrative Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to meet her clients’ unique needs.

Bree’s passion lies in helping adults and couples navigate the complexities of relationships, personal growth, and self-discovery. With over a decade of experience working closely with families as a nanny, she has developed a deep appreciation for the ways family dynamics shape how people view themselves and interact with others. This insight informs her therapeutic work, fostering a compassionate and empathetic approach that helps clients understand their stories and build healthier connections.

Bree believes therapy is a collaborative process rooted in understanding each client’s individuality, strengths, and goals. Whether she is helping clients untangle relational challenges or explore their personal narratives, Bree strives to create a safe, supportive space where growth and healing can flourish.

When she isn’t working with clients, Bree enjoys experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen, getting lost in a good book, or tending to her garden. She also loves exploring Oregon’s beautiful hiking trails and diving into creative projects that inspire fresh perspectives. These activities not only bring her joy but also serve as a reminder of the importance of cultivating balance and creativity in life—a value she shares with her clients.
